Hi Parents!
On Sunday, August 7th, we have two big changes occurring!
First, we are transitioning to three service times: 8:30, 10:00 and 11:30. We are providing a children's ministry during all three services times.
Secondly, we are promoting all children into the next "grade level" in preparation for the fall school year. That means that your child will be moved into their next grade/age appropriate class.
The check-in process remains the same. For elementary children (Kindergarten-5th), just confirm with the registration attendant what grade your child will be starting in the fall to ensure that we place your child into the correct class. If you have a preschool aged child, those children are placed according to their date of birth and the computer check-in system should automatically place them into their proper room. If you have a nursery-aged child (3-24 months), we "graduate" those children according to ability throughout the year.
With the addition of a third service, we have had to rearrange some of our classes and times. Our 5th graders will meet during one of two services; 2nd or 3rd service. Ignite (6th, 7th & 8th grade) will meet only during the 2nd service and Elevate (9th-12th grades) will meet only during the 3rd service.
We will still offer Hang Time for those elementary-aged children who are attending more than one service due to a parent volunteering. Hang Time will only be offered during the 2nd service.
We have added a follow-up program to our Kids First Step class. It is called "Live Out Loud" and is a 5 week class that is designed as a discipleship training once your child has been baptized. This class is offered for children in 3rd through 5th grade during the 2nd service. We will offer it periodically throughout the year. The first class begins Sunday, August 14th. Interested?
